How we verify
our data
We are an independent site covering the 2026 Madrid Grand Prix. This is what we do so you can trust what you read here — and what we have corrected on the occasions we got it wrong.
Our five standards
The official source comes first
Session times, gate opening, entry rules, transport access and ticket categories come from MADRING and IFEMA MADRID. If the circuit says it, that is what we publish, even when it contradicts other sites.
Prices are labelled with where they came from
The circuit does not publish a fixed grandstand price list. The ranges you see come from the specialist press and we say so every time: we never present a press figure as an official tariff.
If it is not confirmed, we say so
If the organisers have not published the concert line-up, the maximum bag size or whether there will be left luggage, we mark it as awaiting confirmation. We do not fill gaps with plausible-sounding detail.
No misleading photography
We do not use stock images to illustrate a specific venue, grandstand or event. If we do not have a real picture of it, the entry runs without one.
Every page carries a date and its sources
At the foot of any page with factual data you will find when it was last verified and the exact links we used, so you can check it yourself.
Published corrections
We publish the mistakes we have corrected rather than quietly deleting them. If you used this guide before these dates, this is what changed.
A Sprint race that did not exist
28 July 2026We had a Sprint race listed for Saturday at 15:00. Madrid is not a Sprint venue in 2026: the six Sprints are China, Miami, Canada, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Singapore. Corrected against the official IFEMA timetable.
Food and drink at the circuit
28 July 2026We said you could bring in a sealed 500 ml bottle and packaged food. The official MADRING FAQ prohibits food and drink from outside. Corrected.
Bag dimensions and umbrellas
28 July 2026We gave specific dimensions (30x20x10 cm) and an umbrella ban that appear in no official source. Both removed and marked as unpublished.
Qualifying time
28 July 2026We listed qualifying from 12:00 to 13:00. The official time is 16:00 to 17:00, with FP3 at 12:30.
